FullBright RD is a shader pack designed for Minecraft Bedrock’s RenderDragon rendering engine. It brightens the game environment to simulate a night vision effect and removes fog, enhancing visibility in all lighting conditions. This utility shader improves gameplay by providing clearer visuals during night or dark areas without altering game mechanics.
Installation
Note: Minecraft Bedrock does not officially support custom shaders, so the following methods are unofficial ways to enable this shader.
Android
- Download and install the MB Loader application from the app store.
- Import the FullBright RD resource pack into Minecraft and activate it under global resource packs.
- Launch Minecraft through the MB Loader app to use the shader.
Windows
There are several approaches to apply shaders on Windows:
- BetterRenderDragon: Use this tool to load shaders with Minecraft on Windows.
- Matject: Another utility for injecting shader packs into the game.
- Manual Replacement:
- Extract the contents of the .mcpack file.
- Navigate to the
renderer/materialsfolder inside the extracted files. - Copy all the files in that folder.
- Locate your Minecraft installation directory, usually at
C:\XboxGames\Minecraft for Windows\Content\data\renderer\materials. If your installation is in a different location, adjust accordingly. - Make a backup of the existing files in the materials folder before proceeding.
- Paste the copied files from the shader pack into this materials folder, replacing the originals.
- To revert to the default visuals, restore the backed-up original files to the materials folder.
iOS
- Installing shaders on iOS devices is currently complicated and not straightforward. It typically requires jailbreaking the device or installing an untrusted IPA file.
