Blurry's Java PvP brings an authentic replication of Minecraft Java Edition 1.9 combat mechanics to the Bedrock Edition. It features timed attack cooldowns, a visible cooldown bar, sweeping edge effects, Java-style knockback, and realistic cobweb and door behaviors, along with numerous quality-of-life improvements.
Installation / How to Use
Import this add-on into your Minecraft Bedrock world or resource packs. Activate it alongside your existing packs, ensuring Blurry's Java PvP is placed below any other player.json-based packs for compatibility. Test the addon in a backup or separate world before use, as removing it will delete all custom weapons associated with the addon.
Requirements / Compatibility
No experimental features or custom player.json files are required to run this pack. It is compatible with other player.json packs, provided it is loaded after them.
Key Features
- Attack Indicator: Displays a cooldown bar when swinging weapons that must recharge before delivering full damage.

- Knockback Hits: Sprinting attacks replicate Java Edition knockback effects for immersive combat feel.

- Sweeping Edge: Sword attacks generate a sweeping effect that damages multiple nearby targets.

- Java Saturation: Implements Java's hunger saturation mechanic, affecting how long your hunger bar remains full after eating.

- Java Cobwebs and Doors: Mimics the behavior of cobwebs and doors as in Java Edition.
- Java Projectiles and Knockback: Projectiles and knockback effects behave like in Java Edition, with no shield knockback.
- Golden Apple Heart Limit: Limits extra absorption hearts to match Java behavior.
- Adaptive Sounds: Sounds adjust to provide a more authentic Java experience.
- Configuration Menus: Personal, admin, and extra settings menus allow customization of various features.
Notes
Removing this add-on will delete all weapons added by it. Always test in a backup or separate world to avoid data loss. The pack does not require enabling experimental gameplay features.
