Entities and Encounters

The Dream Player

A simulated survivor with a random username who lives alongside you—gathering resources, crafting, building a furnished home, hunting, and cooking. It remembers when players trespass, snoop chests, or damage its property, and its behavior evolves as the story advances.

The Burglary

If a warning sign appears outside your home at sunset, beware: at midnight, The Burglary will approach. This entity attacks doors and windows, squeezes through tight spaces, mimics player chat, and silently observes anyone inside.

Psst

A whisper calls from right behind you. Turning reveals Psst, but staring too long causes reality to distort around it. Sometimes ignoring the voice is safer than confronting it.

The Blood Baby and Cot Apocalypse

When a cot appears amid red fog and distant crying, The Blood Baby begins its approach from afar, demolishing anything in its path toward its target. Its footsteps, cries, and shaking camera effects intensify as it draws near.

The Knocking Doctor

A mysterious doctor may arrive outside player-built homes, knocking persistently. Opening the door transports you to Doctor Valley — a landscape of red fog, blood trails, countless bodies, and a solitary Mother lurking in the distance.

The Father

A path leads from your home to a sealed house. Forcing entry triggers a confrontation with The Father, culminating with a dire warning: leave before the house and all within it succumb to destruction.

The Puppeteer

On certain nights, The Puppeteer descends from the sky, forcing you to witness its arrival before pursuing you. Reaching the safety of a house can make it vanish, but being caught results in a deeply personal and grim fate.

Chester

Disguised as a normal chest, Chester lures players with promises of diamonds and abandoned loot through chat messages. Opening Chester traps you in a sealed black chamber with five scattered clues and a keypad. Solve the changing code within ten minutes to escape with ten diamond blocks—or perish inside.

The Colossal Mother

The climactic figure of the hospital storyline. Her arrival blankets the world in red fog, scatters hundreds of dead doctors, and levitates nearby creatures helplessly into the sky, some never returning intact.

The Weeping Titan

A towering, blind, and deaf 75-block giant that slowly roams the land. It does not actively chase players, but its thunderous footsteps shake the ground, its distant roars echo, and anything too close is instantly consumed.

Glitch

A living RenderDragon error accompanied by blindness, corrupted audio, and raw error messages. One player is targeted for a 30-second chase. Anything touching Glitch is erased, and if caught, the victim is flung 30 million blocks away into the broken Stripe Lands.

The Hospital Figures

The Doctor, the Mother, and the Saviour appear throughout six interconnected dream sequences. Their various forms—including corpses, impostors, and altered versions—gradually unveil the Sweet Dreams story and link many later encounters.

Installation and Usage

To experience Sweet Dreams, add the addon to your Minecraft Bedrock Edition world. No experimental gameplay features are required, allowing for seamless integration. Build a home to trigger many of the addon’s unique events and survive the unfolding nightmares.

Compatibility

This addon operates on Minecraft Bedrock Edition versions as early as 1.21.120. It does not depend on any experimental or beta APIs, ensuring broad compatibility across devices.
