Installation / How to Use

Locate the Skeleton King's arena in the plains biome, marked by a floating cursed torch. Approaching this torch triggers waves of shadow enemies. Defeat these foes to empower the torch, which absorbs their essence and grows stronger. After accumulating enough power through defeating shadows and collecting the rare Purified Fire, the Skeleton King will be summoned for an epic confrontation.

This addon is designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, version 1.21.92 or higher. Ensure your game is updated to experience all features and boss mechanics without issues.

Key Features

• New Boss: The Skeleton King, a challenging enemy with multiple combat phases and unique attacks.
• Summoning Mechanics: The cursed torch summons shadows in waves; defeating them charges the torch and yields Purified Fire, essential for crafting and upgrades.
• Boss Abilities:
  • Mini Skeleton Horde: Summons six small skeletons that slow players and explode upon death.
  • Lightning Strike: Targets players with lightning, preceded by a particle warning.
  • Fire Prison: Ignites the ground in a grid pattern around players after an audio alert.
• Phase Two Transformation: Upon critical damage, the Skeleton King heals, switches to a crossbow weapon, summons damaging bats, and can be healed by a floating eye vulnerable to projectiles.
• Weapons and Items:
  • Skeleton Sword: Deals 10 damage and can summon skeleton allies; enchantable with standard enchantments including Mending.
  • Dark Skeleton Sword: Upgraded version with increased damage, durability, and summons more skeletons; upgraded using a smithing table with a template and netherite ingot.
  • Necro Books: Summon various types of skeleton allies including archers, guards, and a skeleton horse for transportation.
• Rewards: Defeating the Skeleton King grants the powerful skeleton sword dropped upon his defeat.

Additional Information

The cursed torch charges in increments of one for every four shadows defeated and consumed. It levels up through four stages before summoning the Skeleton King at the fifth stage. Stay alert for dialogue cues as the battle approaches.

Upgrade your skeleton sword at the smithing table using a special template and a netherite ingot to enhance your combat capabilities.
