Otherworldly

Otherworldly is a comprehensive add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that enriches your game with new bosses, mobs, caves, structures, items, and gameplay mechanics. It introduces challenging new systems and an enhanced difficulty experience, all without requiring experimental gameplay toggles. This add-on supports multiple languages including Spanish, English, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Turkish, and works on version 26.30 or later.

Installation and Usage

To enjoy Otherworldly, simply add the add-on to your Minecraft Bedrock Edition world. No player.json modifications or experimental features need to be enabled. Once installed, explore the new caves, fight bosses, collect unique items, and utilize accessories like the Spectral Amulet to identify blocks and mobs exclusive to the add-on.

Requirements and Compatibility

Otherworldly is compatible with Minecraft Bedrock Edition version 26.30 or newer. It does not depend on the player.json file and does not require any experimental toggles to function properly.

Key Features

• New Fishing Mechanics: Version 1.8.0 adds six new fishing rods, including the Fire Fishing Rod that allows fishing in lava. Over 35 aquatic species are introduced, with some having raw and cooked versions, and others exclusive as raw catches like lava and cave species.
• Luck System: Player actions influence a Luck system affecting bonus rewards. Good Luck increases chances for extra ores, experience, crop yields, and rare fishing catches, while Bad Luck removes bonus loot, only allowing base drops.
• Accessories: Amulets are equipped through an Accessory Bag, opening a dedicated menu to manage them. The Spectral Amulet reveals information about Otherworldly blocks and mobs.
• Cursed Cemetery & Gravestones: A mysterious fog-covered area filled with ancient gravestones. Breaking blocks here triggers the Nocturnal Shade’s eternal wrath, which can be lifted by consuming the Melon Red Pie made with red slimeballs. Players can also craft a Totem of Recovery to keep their inventory safe upon death.
• Structures: Diverse new structures spawn in the world, including floating islands, desert temples, towers, castles, outposts, camps, mining sites, cemeteries, villages, ruins, and more, enriching exploration.
• Caves and Biomes: New cave types such as jungle, deep jungle, desert, deep desert, cold biomes, mushroom caves, and swamp caves expand underground exploration. Unique biomes like underground Spider Nests, roofed forests, beaches, and deserts offer fresh environments.
• Bosses and Mini-Bosses: Encounter powerful foes such as Lynx, Lumimoth, Soul Thief, Scarking, and Harrowing, each with distinct appearances and challenges.
• Mobs: A wide variety of new hostile, neutral, and peaceful mobs are included. An in-game bestiary unlocks detailed information as you discover or defeat these creatures.

Additional Information

The add-on encourages strategic gameplay by integrating the Luck system, making player choices impactful on rewards and challenges. The Totem of Recovery provides a safety net, teleporting items to the spawn point upon death and preserving additional inventories, which can be accessed through the in-game guide. Building your own cursed cemetery by placing four Cursed Gravestones allows crafting of unique items like the Totem of Recovery and more in future updates.
