Minecraft 26.60.29 is a Beta & Preview build for testing upcoming Minecraft changes. It is a work-in-progress version, so features may change and the build can be unstable.
Experimental Drop 4 of 2026 content
This preview introduces experimental icy content for the next game drop. Ice Caves can generate beneath cold Overworld biomes and are built mainly from Packed Ice and Calcite. They can contain Ice Crystals, a light-emitting crystal block, and Icicles that may fall when light conditions allow.
The update also adds the Frostbite, a zombie variant found in cold areas. Frostbites can throw Ice Balls or use melee attacks that apply the new Freezing Effect. Freezing reduces jump height, makes players shake, and can eventually deal damage.

- Fixes an Android issue that prevented interaction with the Disclosure pop-up.
- Fixes an item duplication issue involving a full inventory and dropped stacks.
- Improves Realms world download speed and reliability.
- Addresses loading, sound synchronization, graphics, and interface issues.
- Refreshes the main menu layout through a gradual rollout.
Testing notes
