Download Minecraft PE 26.0 — new version numbering system, “Drop 1 2026” switch added, 140 bugs fixed.
- Minecraft versions will now be numbered by year, starting with “26.” for 2026.
- The “Drop 1 2026” switch adds 10 keys to the keyboard/mouse control settings screen.
- Each key has a text field for entering commands, executable only during gameplay.
- Macros cannot be assigned to Alt and must be a combination of Alt and the selected key.
- Added crafting for Tags and mob offspring appear when using Spawn Eggs on mobs.
- Updated models and textures for both adult and baby Rabbits with new animations.
- New sounds added for Pigs, Cats, and Wolves.
- A total of 159 technical changes made for add-on development and testing.
This update enhances gameplay mechanics and expands customization options.
