Expansive Ores

Expansive Ores enhances Minecraft Bedrock by introducing a variety of new ores, armor sets, tools, weapons, shields, utility items, custom tables with unique interfaces, enchantments, and effect rings. This addon enriches gameplay with fresh content and ongoing updates to expand your Minecraft experience.

Installation

To install this addon, download the Expansive Ores Behavior Pack (BP) for all custom behaviors and the Expansive Ores Resource Pack (RP) for textures. Both are essential for the addon to function correctly. Additionally, there is an optional Expansive Ores UI Table pack that provides custom graphical interfaces for the new tables added, enhancing the user experience.

Requirements and Compatibility

• This addon does not require enabling experimental gameplay features.
• It is compatible with most other addons and plugins since it does not modify player.json files.
• You can load this addon last to ensure smooth integration with others.

Key Features

New Ores, Tools, and Armor

• Various new ores embedded in the world, including salt ore appearing from layers 0 to 45 and in deepslate layers from -64 to -5.
• Enhanced armors with improved textures and 3D models, including uranium, jade, and fluorite sets.
• New weapons such as nine different bows with matching arrows crafted at a special table.

Custom Entities and Mobs

• Blockyns: Tameable block-shaped creatures found in caves. They can defend and assist the player. Taming requires iron or gold ingots with a 10% success chance. Variants have varying health based on embedded minerals.
• EnderCyan Boss: An enhanced Enderman infected by a Cyan gem that increases its size, damage, and health. It summons allies and performs shockwave attacks but loses teleportation. Defeating it rewards a special gem for upgrading tools.
• Gem Husk: A tougher variant of Husk with embedded gems, inflicting hunger effect when attacking and dropping the embedded gem upon defeat.

New Items and Utilities

• Effect rings that provide passive bonuses when equipped.
• Gem totems (Onyx, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz) that grant special abilities when held in the off-hand.
• Salt mineral that can be used to season food, increasing the hunger restored by cooked items like beef, carrots, beetroot, eggs, and even cooked rotten flesh which no longer causes hunger effect.
• Custom tables with their own GUI for crafting advanced items.

Enchantments and Gameplay Improvements

• New enchantments for shields added with improved shield animations.
• Vanilla pickaxes gain increased mining speed for new ores.
• Hammers now support vanilla enchantments such as Fortune and Silk Touch.
• Sound effects for deepslate ores added.
• Bug fixes for enchantments and custom arrows.

Interfaces and Categories

• Item categories added for better organization (e.g., tridents, shields, food, drills).
• Descriptions added to items with special abilities, including totems, rings, and hammers to clarify their uses.
• Custom UI tables are now provided as a separate optional pack to avoid compatibility issues.

How to Use

Tame Blockyns by using iron or gold ingots. Interact while sneaking to make them sit. Use the special crafting tables for bows and other equipment. Equip rings and totems in the appropriate slots to gain their effects. Season cooked food with salt to increase hunger restoration. Defeat new bosses like EnderCyan to obtain rare gems for upgrading your gear.

Notes and Troubleshooting

This addon does not disable achievements and requires no experimental game settings. For the best experience, load the behavior pack and resource pack simultaneously. Installing the optional UI pack enhances table interactions but is not required.
