Bob Golems+

Bob Golems+ introduces over 50 different golems crafted from a variety of Minecraft blocks, such as wood, glass, diamond, and nether brick. Each golem possesses distinct abilities and stats, allowing you to protect your village and explore new gameplay options. These golems can be summoned easily and include unique features like healing and special attacks.

How to Use

To create a golem, arrange the blocks in a T-shaped pattern, similar to the Iron Golem structure. Then, place the specific Golem Head block on top to complete the summoning. Golems will then patrol and defend your base by attacking hostile mobs.

Alternatively, golems can now be generated by world structures using only one pumpkin and the required material blocks arranged in a cross shape. This new functionality removes the need for manual construction every time.

When damaged, golems display cracked textures and can be healed by applying their corresponding building material, much like repairing Iron Golems.

Each golem also has its own spawn egg for easier summoning in creative mode.

Customization

Players can adjust each golem's attributes such as health, attack power, and special effects using data packs and configuration files. This allows tailoring golems to suit different playstyles or server needs.

Configuration Options

  • Villagers have a configurable chance (default 60%) to summon extra golems.
  • Golems can be set to attack players (enabled by default).
  • Healing golems by giving them their building blocks is enabled by default.
  • Option to build golems using regular pumpkins (disabled by default).
  • Golems can change appearance during holidays (enabled by default).

Requirements and Compatibility

This add-on is designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It is an independent adaptation of similar concepts found in Java Edition mods. It supports customization through data packs and config files, but requires the appropriate version of Minecraft to function correctly.
