UPDATED: 19.06.2026
Better Dynamic Light (No player.json and Achievement Friendly) enhances your Minecraft experience by allowing light sources like torches and lanterns to illuminate the environment dynamically as you move, eliminating the need to place torches frequently. This add-on increases the brightness of all torch types, providing a more immersive and convenient lighting system that follows your character in real time.
Installation
To install the Better Dynamic Light add-on, import the add-on files into your Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Activate the add-on within your world settings under the Behavior Packs section. Ensure the pack is enabled before loading the world for the dynamic lighting effects to take effect.
How to Use
Once installed and enabled, simply hold a torch, lantern, or similar light-emitting item in your hand. As you move through your world, the light source will emit a brighter glow that dynamically follows your position, illuminating nearby areas without the need to place torches manually. No additional setup or commands are required.
