AppleSkin – Bedrock Port
12.06.2026
AppleSkin – Bedrock Port enhances your Minecraft Bedrock experience by displaying valuable food-related information directly on the HUD. It provides insights into your current saturation level and previews the hunger and saturation values restored by the food item you are holding.
Key Features
- Adds a Saturation Bar to the HUD, showing your current saturation status.
- Displays the amount of hunger and saturation that will be restored by the selected food item.
- Supports both vanilla and custom food items, ensuring versatility across different gameplay styles.
Requirements / Compatibility
This addon is designed specifically for Minecraft Bedrock Edition and is a port of the original AppleSkin mod from Java Edition. Due to limitations in Bedrock’s JSON UI system, some features from the Java version, such as the Exhaustion Bar and Restored Health indicators, are not included.
Note that this addon introduces new JSON UI elements that utilize titles for functionality; therefore, it cannot be used alongside other addons that also rely on titles, as this causes incompatibility.
Installation
To install, add the addon to your Minecraft Bedrock resource or behavior packs folder and enable it in your world settings under resource packs and behavior packs. Make sure no other addons using titles are active in the same world to prevent conflicts.
How to Use
Once installed and enabled, the Saturation Bar will appear on your HUD automatically during gameplay. When you hold a food item, the HUD will display how much hunger and saturation that item will restore upon consumption.
Notes
This addon is intended as a learning reference for developers interested in Bedrock addon coding. While the code can be studied for educational purposes, direct copying or reuse is discouraged. Instead, use it as a foundation to create your own unique implementations.
Enjoy the added clarity on your hunger and saturation mechanics while playing!
