(AI Players) Echoes of Multiplayer enhances your Minecraft Bedrock single-player world by adding intelligent AI-controlled players who explore, fight, trade, and develop over time. This addon transforms a solitary experience into a vibrant, lively environment resembling a multiplayer server filled with dynamic interactions.

Installation / How to Use

To activate this addon, ensure you are running the latest supported Minecraft version (Beta 0.2.8 requires version 1.21.12x). Beginning with Beta 0.1.6, you must enable the Beta APIs option found under the World Experiments tab in your game settings before loading the addon.

Once enabled, load the addon into your world. AI players will spawn naturally in the Overworld, with occasional appearances in the Nether and The End. You can interact with them by speaking, trading, or giving items to build affinity and unlock new behaviors.

Requirements / Compatibility

• Compatible with Minecraft Bedrock Edition version 1.21.12x (Beta 0.2.8).
• Beta APIs experiment must be enabled in world settings.
• Recommended to use the newest game version to access all features.

• Autonomous Building: AI players can construct structures independently, responding to your commands like "build something" or spontaneously while exploring.

  

• Simulated Server Chat: Experience lively chat messages including player join/leave notices, death messages, and server announcements, creating a true multiplayer ambience.

  

• Multi-Dimensional Spawning: AI entities spawn mostly in the Overworld, with rare appearances in other dimensions.
• Skill & Gear Variation: Each AI has unique combat skills and equipment tiers, making encounters unpredictable.
• Extended Combat Mechanics: AI players can strike from 3-4 blocks away, sprint-jump when chasing targets, strafe during combat, and use shields to block attacks.
• Optimized Targeting: AI selectively engages hostile mobs nearby and sometimes hunts animals or monsters for resources, simulating survival instincts.

  

• Food System: AI has a food inventory, can be fed by players, hunts for raw meat when hungry, and uses furnaces to cook food.

  

• Interactive Greetings: AI players greet new acquaintances by sneaking repeatedly and respond to player sneaks with a friendly gesture.
• Friend System (Beta 0.2.8+): Use the special item provided at spawn to manage AI friends—request teleportation, check coordinates, tame, follow, lock equipment, prohibit building, or remove friends. Deceased AI friends can be re-invited through the Friend Menu.

  

• Dialogue System: Customizable AI conversations with affinity-based responses. Build relationships to influence AI behavior, including issuing follow commands.

  

• Companions: Some AI spawn with pet wolves that defend their master during combat.
• Player-Like Loot: AI drop diverse items including blocks, materials, tools, and miscellaneous junk mimicking a real player's inventory.
• Bartering & Upgrade System: Trade with AI players, who dynamically improve their skills and equipment by earning upgrade points through combat and resource gathering. You can also feed and supply them with materials to boost upgrades.

  

• Intelligent Combat Behavior: AI switches weapons intelligently based on skill, uses bows for ranged attacks if the player is distant, and will scavenge better gear found on the ground.
• Factions & Captains: AI are divided into three factions—one neutral and two hostile. Hostile "Madmen" attack indiscriminately, while groups feature captains who lead squads.
• AI-Built Structures: The world includes AI-constructed buildings ranging from simple shelters to large signs, enhancing immersion.
• Peace Proposals: If AI are hostile but unprovoked, you can send messages like "stop" or "don't hit" to request peace, and AI will decide whether to cease aggression.

  

Notes / Troubleshooting

This addon is currently in beta; users are encouraged to provide feedback and report issues to aid development. Sharing your own compatible structures made with Structure Blocks (preferably within 16x16 size) is welcomed to be considered for inclusion in future updates.
