Action Survival

Action Survival enhances your early Minecraft survival experience by making wooden tools and leather armor valuable and easy to craft and enchant. This addon encourages using leather gear with improved recipes and introduces new items, blocks, and an ancient table to enrich gameplay without disabling achievements.

Installation / How to Use

Install the addon normally through your Minecraft Bedrock Edition addons folder. To use the Ancient Table, interact specifically with the center of its top face where the paper is placed—clicking other sides will not activate it.

Requirements / Compatibility

This addon works with vanilla Minecraft and does not disable achievements. It is compatible with other addons that do not conflict with leather, wood, or stone gear modifications.

Key Features

1. Leather System: Leather can be divided into smaller pieces and recombined, allowing efficient use of leather. You only need three leather pieces for a full armor set, with leftover pieces usable for various recipes.
2. Reinforced Leather Armor: A new armor set offering 13 defense points when fully equipped, crafted with revamped recipes.
3. Ancient Table: A new crafting block that unlocks enchanting for leather armor and wooden/stone tools early in the game. The table functions like a trading station, requiring two input items to create enchanted gear. You can break and replace it to reset enchantments.
4. New Items and Blocks: Includes cellulose pulp for paper production without sugarcane, firewood ember to craft torches and campfires without coal, and new weapons like bone and flint daggers with unique durability and damage stats. Also features nests in the overworld containing 0-3 eggs.
5. Increased Animal Spawns: Higher rates of common animals such as cows, sheep, chickens, horses, and pigs, enhancing early resource availability.
6. Texture Compatibility: Textures are redesigned to align with “Actions and Stuff” style for a consistent visual experience.

Additional Details

Leather pieces can be crafted into leather strings, and leather strips can be obtained by cooking rotten meat. The Ancient Table recipe uses any type of log and coal. Enchantments from the Ancient Table are more powerful for wooden tools compared to stone tools, balancing early-game progression.

Cellulose pulp is crafted by combining debarked logs with water, seaweed, bark, or bone meal, providing an alternative paper source. Firewood ember serves as a coal substitute for light sources.

Bone daggers deal 10 damage but have very limited durability (2 uses), while flint daggers deal 12 damage with slightly better durability (6 uses), encouraging strategic combat choices.

New nests containing eggs spawn naturally, adding to the survival and resource aspects of the game.
