PG’s Ruby Armor and Tools Addon

PG’s Ruby Armor and Tools Addon enhances Minecraft Bedrock Edition by introducing ruby as a new valuable resource. Players can discover ruby ore underground, mine it using an iron pickaxe, and craft a complete set of durable ruby tools and armor to bolster their gameplay.

Installation / How to use

To use this addon, ensure both the Ruby Armor and Tools Resource Pack and Behaviour Pack are installed and activated in your Minecraft Bedrock world settings. Once enabled, explore the Overworld to locate ruby ore and mine it with at least an iron pickaxe. Gather rubies to craft the various ruby tools, armor pieces, and blocks this addon provides.

Requirements / Compatibility

This addon is designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition and requires the use of iron pickaxes or higher to harvest ruby ore. It is compatible with worlds that allow custom resource and behavior packs.

Tools

• Ruby Sword: 1150 durability, 8 damage

  

• Ruby Spear: 1150 durability, 6 damage

  

• Ruby Axe: 1150 durability, 7 damage

  

• Ruby Pickaxe: 1150 durability, 7 damage

  

• Ruby Shovel: 1150 durability, 6 damage

  

• Ruby Hoe: 1150 durability, 5 damage

  

Armor

• Ruby Helmet: 275 durability, 3 defense

  

• Ruby Chestplate: 400 durability, 6 defense

  

• Ruby Leggings: 370 durability, 6 defense

  

• Ruby Boots: 320 durability, 3 defense

  

Items

• Ruby: The core crafting material for all ruby gear.

  

Blocks

• Ruby Ore: Found near or below Y=16 in the Overworld. Drops rubies when mined. The drop is unaffected by the Fortune enchantment.
• Ruby Deepslate Ore: Located near or below Y=0. Also drops rubies without Fortune enchantment influence.
• Ruby Block: A decorative storage block crafted from rubies.

  

Notes / Troubleshooting

Remember to activate both the resource pack and behavior pack for the addon to function properly. Ruby ore requires an iron pickaxe or stronger tool to mine effectively. Fortune enchantments do not increase ruby drops.
