How to Install a Map in Minecraft PE on Android?

If you have a map file that you need to install in Minecraft PE, follow these steps:

.ZIP and .RAR

The most common way to install a map is by using ZIP or RAR formats. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open your file manager. We recommend using File Manager from Google Play.
2. Download the map file you want. You can find great maps in the “Maps” section of our website.
3. Unzip the downloaded file. Once unzipped, you will get a folder containing the map files.
4. Copy the unzipped folder to this directory on your phone: /games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/.
5. You can now close the file manager.
6. Launch Minecraft PE or restart it if it was already open.
7. The installed map will now appear in your list of worlds.
