True Backpack
22.02.2026
True Backpack introduces a variety of backpacks featuring expanded storage options, compatibility with other add-ons, and multiple enhancements. This update brings festive-themed backpacks, bug fixes, new upgrade mechanics, and improved rendering for a seamless experience.
Installation / How to Use
To get started, import both the behavior pack and resource pack into your Minecraft Bedrock Edition world, ensuring versions match to avoid issues. Open the backpack by interacting with it in your inventory. To wear a backpack, break it from the world and equip it; note that backpacks only appear on the player when equipped in the proper slot, not in the hotbar.
Upgrades are applied by sneaking and right-clicking the backpack while holding the upgrade item, which opens the upgrade menu for enhancements such as expanding storage or adding special functions.
Requirements / Compatibility
This add-on requires Minecraft Bedrock Edition with support for custom entities and resource packs. For optimal performance, keep the resource pack and behavior pack versions synchronized. The add-on is compatible with many other mods and supports custom skins, achievements, and additional backpack designs.

Notes / Troubleshooting
Ensure both resource and behavior packs are of the same version to avoid crashes or missing textures. If backpacks are not rendering correctly or upgrades fail, verify that the add-on is fully updated. Custom skins now function properly as of this version. For operator players, commands are available to enable or disable the ‘Add Friend’ option.
