SmooTea Shader | Low End Shader

SmooTea Shader enhances Minecraft Bedrock Edition by improving visuals without compromising game performance, making your gameplay more immersive and enjoyable. Compatible with version 1.21.101 and above, this shader pack brings optimized effects, including a new 3D feature and glowing ores, tailored for low-end devices.

Installation

Note: Minecraft Bedrock does not officially support custom shaders. The following installation methods are unofficial.

Android

1. Install the MB Loader APK on your device.
2. Import the SmooTea shader resource pack into Minecraft and enable it under global resource packs.
3. Launch Minecraft through the MB Loader application to activate the shader.

Windows

1. Use the BetterRenderDragon mod to enable MaterialBinLoader support.
2. Import and activate the shader resource pack in Minecraft’s global resource settings.

If BetterRenderDragon is incompatible with your Minecraft version, an alternative tool named Matject (available on GitHub) can be used to install shaders.

Linux (x86_64 architecture)

1. Install the mcpelauncher-materialbinloader-mod if using the mcpelauncher-manifest.
2. Import and enable the shader resource pack within global resources.

iOS

Installing shaders on iOS devices is not straightforward. It typically requires jailbreaking or installing untrusted IPA files, which is not recommended.

Notes

The shader is designed specifically for Minecraft Bedrock versions 1.21.100 and above. Using it on older versions may cause graphical issues due to differences in the lighting engine.
