Raiyon’s Java Combat for Minecraft PE
19.02.2026
Raiyon’s Java Combat enhances your Minecraft Bedrock gameplay by introducing a combat system inspired by the Java Edition. This addon replicates Java’s weapon cooldown mechanics, attack animations, and damage calculations for a more authentic fighting experience.
Installation / How to Use
To use this addon, simply import it into your Bedrock Edition game and activate it in your world settings. The combat system will automatically apply, modifying attack cooldowns, damage outputs, and blocking behavior to match Java Edition standards. For best results, place the cooldown animation resource pack below others such as Actions and Stuff or similar packs.
Requirements / Compatibility
This addon is compatible with all standard Bedrock Edition versions. It also supports tools and weapons from other addons, ensuring seamless integration of custom gear into the Java-style combat system.
Key Features
- Cooldown Mechanic: A visible cooldown bar appears below the cursor indicating when your weapon can deal maximum damage.
- Sweep Attacks: Swords with a fully charged cooldown trigger a sweep attack that damages nearby mobs.
- Damage Variation: Axes inflict more damage than swords but have a longer cooldown, mirroring Java’s combat balance.
- Shield Mechanics: Shields no longer cause knockback when blocking and can now block charged mace attacks, consistent with Java Edition behavior.
- Blocking Animation: Updated to visually match Java Edition’s blocking stance.
- Damage Calculations: Incorporates Java-style effects for enchantments like Sharpness, and status effects such as Strength and Weakness.
Notes
If you are using additional resource packs that affect combat animations or HUD elements, ensure the cooldown animation pack is placed beneath them to avoid conflicts.
