The Fossil Record

The Fossil Record is a Minecraft Bedrock addon that allows players to clone dinosaurs and various prehistoric creatures from different geological periods, enabling the creation of your own dinosaur-themed park. This survival-compatible addon offers an immersive experience for those who want to populate their worlds with a diverse range of ancient animals.

Installation / How to use

To begin cloning dinosaurs, first locate a Ground Fossil, which can be found on any stone-type block throughout your world. Next, you will need a Spectrometer item. Use the Ground Fossil on the Spectrometer to extract dinosaur DNA.

Once you have the DNA, combine it in a crafting table with a regular chicken egg. This process will yield a dinosaur egg, which can be hatched to spawn a baby dinosaur. Keep in mind that dinosaurs cannot be tamed, so handle them with care.

Carnivorous dinosaurs require live prey to stay fed; feeding them prevents aggression towards players. No need to worry about starvation mechanics for these creatures. Additionally, some dinosaurs can climb or step up more than two blocks, depending on their size.

This addon is designed to be friendly for survival gameplay and compatible with standard Minecraft Bedrock editions. No special dependencies are required.

Notes / Troubleshooting
