Installation / How to Use
After installing the Origins BE addon, create a new world and select your desired origin on the origin selection screen to begin playing with its unique abilities and effects. Each origin modifies your gameplay, offering special powers along with balancing disadvantages.
The origin selection interface allows you to preview and pick from available origins before starting your adventure.

Human
The default Minecraft experience with no special abilities or drawbacks.

Avian
- Featherweight: Fall gently unless sneaking.
- Fresh Air: Must sleep above 86 blocks altitude.
- Tailwind: Slightly faster movement on foot.
- Oviparous: Lay an egg each morning.
- Like Air: Sprinting in the air increases speed.
- Vegetarian: Cannot digest meat.

Arachnid
- Climbing: Scale any wall by jumping or holding jump, toggleable ability.
- Webbing: Immobilize enemies with cobwebs using an empty hand.
- Spider Sense: Enhanced vision in darkness (not underwater).
- Carnivore: Can only eat meat.
- Fragile: Has 3 fewer hearts than humans.

Elytrian
- Winged: Possess Elytra wings without equipment.
- Gift of the Winds: Launch 20 blocks up using a power every 30 seconds.
- Aerial Combatant: Increased damage while flying with Elytra.
- Need for Mobility: Cannot wear armor heavier than iron.
- Claustrophobia: Slowed and weakened in low-ceiling spaces.
- Brittle Bones: Takes extra fall and collision damage.

Shulk
- Hoarder: Extra 9 inventory slots that persist after death, accessible by sneaking and interacting with the ground below.
- Sturdy Skin: Natural protection without armor.
- Strong Arms: Can break natural stones without tools and mine blocks faster.
- Unwieldy: Cannot hold shields upright.
- Large Appetite: Exhausts faster and needs to eat more.

Feline
- Acrobatics: Immune to fall damage regardless of height.
- Strong Ankles: Higher jumping when sprinting.
- Velvet Paws: Silent footsteps undetectable by nearby mobs.
- Nine Lives: Has one fewer heart than humans.
- Weak Arms: Cannot mine clusters of natural stones without strength effect.
- Catlike Appearance: Creepers and phantoms are scared; creepers only explode if attacked first.
- Nocturnal: Improved vision in the dark.

Enderian
- Teleportation: Use a power to throw a damage-free ender pearl for teleporting.
- Tough Skin: 2 extra hearts compared to humans.
- Hydrophobia: Takes damage over time when in contact with water.
- Fear of Gourd: Cannot consume pumpkins.
- Slender Body: Taller and slightly faster, can sneak to fit in 2-block spaces.

Merling
- Gills: Breathe underwater, but not on land.
- Wet Eyes: Clear underwater vision.
- Aqua Affinity: Break blocks underwater as quickly as on land.
- Fins: Increased swimming speed.

Blazeborn
- Fire Immunity: Immune to all fire damage.
- Nether Inhabitant: Naturally spawns in the Nether.
- Burning Wrath: Deals extra damage when on fire.
- Hotblooded: Immune to poison and hunger effects.
- Hydrophobia: Damaged by water over time.

Phantom
- Phantom Form: Toggle between human and phantom forms.
- Phasing: Can pass through most blocks and see through walls while phantomized.
- Invisibility: Invisible when in phantom form.
- Photoallergic: Burns in daylight unless invisible.
- Fast Metabolism: Increased hunger while phantomized.

Llama
- Llama Spit: Can spit using a primary power.
- Rideable: Can be ridden; sneak to kick off rider.
- Llama Chest: Extra 5 inventory slots, persistent after death.
- Quick: Slightly faster when sprinting.
- Vegetarian: Cannot digest meat.

Duck
- Shiv: Permanently holds an iron sword; sneak to retrieve if lost.
- Boom Poo: Can lay ignited TNT every 30 seconds, launching self up and granting slow falling.
- Webbed Feet: Faster swimming speed.
- Duck Sized: One block shorter than humans.
- Speculums: Cannot hold shields upright.
- Fragile: 3 fewer hearts than humans.
- Terrorist: Villagers fear and iron golems attack on sight.

The Cute One
- Cuteness: Nearby entities lower their guard and take extra damage.
- Regenerative Hugs: Sneak for 4 seconds to heal nearby entities.
- Climbing Prowess: Can climb walls similarly to Arachnid, toggleable ability.
- Nimble: Slightly faster movement.
- Stunted Growth: Half a block shorter than humans.
- Sleepy Head: Sleeps 30 seconds longer than humans.
- Fragile: 3 fewer hearts than humans.
- Meat Diet: Can only eat meat.

Troll
- Arson Tendencies: Always have flint and steel; sneak to retrieve if lost.
- Troll Protection: Immune to fire damage, reduced damage from lava, explosions, and falls.
- Explosive Pockets: Can pull out TNT every 30 seconds by sneaking.
- Impulsiveness: Random speed and strength boosts every 3-5 minutes.
- Rage: Primary power deals area damage with cooldown.
- Escapist: Half a block shorter than humans.
- Large Appetite: Faster exhaustion.
- Terrorist: Villagers fear and iron golems attack on sight.

Fox
- Camouflage: Become invisible after 4 seconds of crouching stillness.
- Pounce: High jump attack that boosts damage, with cooldown and hunger cost.
