True Tools enhances your Minecraft experience by introducing upgraded tools with unique capabilities beyond the standard set. This addon offers specialized implements that make farming, mining, and resource gathering more efficient and enjoyable. If you find vanilla tools limiting, these enhanced options provide new ways to interact with the game world.

Installation / How to use

To install True Tools, import the addon pack into your Minecraft Bedrock Edition resource and behavior packs. Activate both packs in your world settings before loading the game. Once installed, craft or obtain the new tools and use them as you would standard tools, keeping in mind some features activate only when not sneaking.

Requirements / Compatibility

This addon is compatible with Minecraft Bedrock Edition version 1.26.1 and later. It is designed to work seamlessly with the latest updates and includes fixes for tools such as Netherite variants. Ensure your game is updated to the required version to avoid any compatibility issues.

Key features

Sickle

The Sickle functions similarly to a hoe but offers enhanced harvesting. By using it on growing crops or tilling soil, you can break crops in a 3×3 area and automatically replant them, significantly speeding up farming tasks.

This improved harvesting allows you to manage larger crop areas efficiently.

Hammer

The Hammer acts like a pickaxe with added power. It mines blocks in a 3×3 area, boosting your mining speed. Note that this area effect is disabled when sneaking, allowing for precise mining when needed.

Lumberjack Axe

Designed for quick tree felling, the Lumberjack Axe enables “tree capitator” functionality, cutting down entire trees rapidly. Like the Hammer, the 3×3 effect does not function when sneaking, giving you control over your chopping.

Snow Shovel

This large shovel breaks snow and dirt blocks in a 3×3 area, making terrain flattening easier. It now correctly breaks snow blocks, a feature that was previously missing. The multi-block effect is disabled while sneaking.

Spade Fork

Ideal for farmers, the Spade Fork works on crops in a 3×3 area to accelerate planting and harvesting. The area effect is inactive when sneaking to allow precise use.

Big Shears

Big Shears improve leaf collection without destroying all leaves around you, providing better control during trimming and harvesting.

Notes / Troubleshooting

• Sickle recipes and Silk Touch functionality on hammers have been corrected in this version.
• Lumberjack axes and shears no longer destroy entire blocks unintentionally.
• Some 3×3 area effects are disabled when the player is sneaking to prevent accidental wide-area damage.
• Ensure you are not sneaking to utilize the full area-of-effect capabilities of these tools.
