Sieged!
26.03.2026
Sieged! enhances your Minecraft Bedrock Edition experience with authentic medieval siege warfare. Command powerful siege engines, hire villager knights, and launch epic assaults on pillager castles to reclaim your lands. Engage in strategic battles where no fortress is safe from your war machines.
Installation / How to Use
Place siege weapons such as catapults, trebuchets, ballistas, battering rams, and the new siege tower in your world to prepare for battle. Use the Firing Staff to operate these engines: interact with a nearby cobblestone block for catapults and trebuchets, or prime the battering ram before charging. Load arrows automatically into the ballista when in your inventory. To deploy the siege tower, engage the bridge mechanism while facing a cardinal direction for best results.
Trigger wave-based battles by sounding a horn near pillager castles. For more challenging encounters and greater rewards, consume an ominous bottle before initiating a siege.
Requirements / Compatibility
Increase your simulation distance to 10 or 12 to prevent boulders launched by catapults and trebuchets from despawning mid-flight. This addon does not require cheats or experimental features to function.
Key Features
- Siege Engines: Command authentic medieval war machines including catapults, trebuchets with Boulder Cam feature, ballistas, battering rams, and siege towers for direct wall assaults.
- Castle Sieges: Assault various castles such as Desert, Viking, Villager, and Pillager fortresses, each with unique layouts and defenses.
- Wave-Based Battles: Engage in escalating enemy waves by sounding a horn, with optional increased difficulty via ominous bottles.
- Soldier Units: Recruit and equip villager warriors, archers, falconers, and banner guards to fight alongside you. Villagers can be armed with armor, though this feature is still being refined.
- Enemy Foes: Battle elite pillager units including vanquishers, executioners, berserkers, and the new Eradicator Illager with unique combat abilities.
- Boss Encounter: Summon and defeat the War Ravager boss by burning any banner and sounding a horn nearby. Prepare with your strongest gear and allies.
- New Items: Utilize the War Declaration to initiate wars, Arrow Rain to unleash volleys from falconers, and the Crown of Dominion awarded after completing the hardest sieges.
- Claim System: Use named banners to claim siege weapons and units, preventing other players from controlling them.
Notes / Troubleshooting
- Siege weapons (except the battering ram) cannot be relocated after placement. Destroying them returns crafting components, not the full weapon.
- The battering ram moves only in a straight line and may require positioning adjustments for effective use.
- Simulation distance must be increased to prevent projectile despawning.
- Some features like armor equipping on villagers and banner taming are still under development.
- Known bugs include siege weapon animation polish and health bar display issues during castle sieges.
