Installation / How to use

Import the addon into your Minecraft Bedrock Edition and activate it in your world settings. Once enabled, the new shields will be available for crafting or use depending on the game mode. Equip any of these shields to gain their special effects during combat or defense.

Requirements / Compatibility

This addon is compatible with the base Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It also supports integration with the “Actions & Stuff” addon, providing enhanced interactions when both are used together. Make sure to select the appropriate mode in the resource pack settings according to whether “Actions & Stuff” is installed to ensure full functionality.

Pushes enemies back when struck and releases wind charges when shooting projectiles.

Wooden Shield

A basic, inexpensive shield with low durability.

Iron Shield

Offers 75% more durability compared to the standard shield.

Diamond Shield

Blocks melee attacks with a chance to grant regeneration and has 85% greater durability than a vanilla shield.

Netherite Shield

Fireproof and inflicts the Wither effect on melee attackers. It boasts 95% more durability than the base shield.

Emerald Shield

Summons evocation fangs around the player when blocking melee hits, similar to an Evoker’s attack. Provides 85% increased durability.

Golden Shield

Grants absorption when blocking melee attacks.

Torch Shield

Illuminates the surrounding area while held.

Dripstone Shield

Damages attackers when struck in melee combat.

Amethyst Shield

Grants strength and speed buffs for a few seconds after blocking melee attacks and reflects vibrations from projectiles.

TNT Shield

Explodes and deals area damage upon blocking attacks.

Bee Shield

Poisons melee attackers that hit the shield.

Goat Shield

Rams back melee attackers when blocking their hits.

Warden Shield

Unleashes a powerful Sonic Boom attack when blocking.

Sea Shield

Automatically fires Shulker Bullets to defend the player when blocking.

Notes / Troubleshooting

Ensure to select the correct resource pack mode based on whether you have the “Actions & Stuff” addon installed to avoid conflicts. This addon maintains Minecraft achievements and does not disable them.
