Installation / How to Use
Per World
- Navigate to Resource Packs > Available, find FullBright, and click Activate.
- Move FullBright to the top of the Active packs list to give it highest priority.
- Load your world to see the effect.
Global (All Worlds)
Go to Settings > Global Resources, activate FullBright, and move it to the top of the list.
Using with X-Ray or Other Packs
- Activate FullBright alongside other packs and ensure FullBright is above them in the priority order to maintain improved brightness while keeping other textures.
On Realms
- Realm owners can edit the realm, upload, and activate FullBright under Resource Packs.
- Optionally, enable the force pack setting to require all players to use it.
Requirements / Compatibility
This resource pack works with Minecraft Bedrock Edition without needing cheats enabled. It is compatible with realms and servers that support resource packs. However, it does not modify actual light levels, so some dark areas like deep caves will remain dim.
Notes / Troubleshooting
Why do caves remain dark?
Resource packs cannot increase the game’s light levels. For full underground brightness, consider versions that include Night Vision behavior packs, which require cheats to be enabled.
The pack seems to have no effect.
Ensure FullBright is activated in the Resource Packs section (not Behavior Packs) and placed at the top of the active pack list. Other packs may override fog and brightness settings if prioritized higher.
