Craftmon Legacy
4.05.2026
Craftmon Legacy brings a classic Pokémon experience directly into Minecraft Bedrock Edition, blending vanilla gameplay with Pokémon-catching, training, and evolving mechanics. Embark on your journey to become a top Pokémon Trainer within the Minecraft universe.
Installation / How to Use
After installing the add-on, you will receive a letter from Professor Oak at the start of your adventure. Opening this letter lets you select your Starter Pokémon from Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. Wild Pokémon appear across your world at varying times, ready to be caught and trained.
To capture Pokémon, craft Poké-Balls using Apricorns harvested from Apricorn Trees found in most biomes. Note that Poké-Balls require the special Poké-Crafter block for crafting instead of the standard Crafting Table.
Throw your chosen Poké-Ball at wild Pokémon to attempt a capture. Catch rates vary by the type of Poké-Ball used and Pokémon characteristics such as speed and weight. Once caught, interact with the Poké-Ball to retrieve your Pokémon.
Pokémon battles operate on a turn-based system. Send out your Pokémon by throwing their Poké-Ball near a wild Pokémon to engage in battle. You can switch your Pokémon’s mode between Battle and Follow; in Follow mode, they will accompany you without engaging targets.
Pokémon can be evolved using Pokémon Candy and Stardust. Earn Stardust by catching or fainting Pokémon, and convert dropped items into Candy via the Material Converter.
Requirements / Compatibility
This add-on functions without the need for experimental gameplay features. It does not use or modify the player.json file, ensuring compatibility with standard Minecraft Bedrock Edition worlds. Achievements remain available during use.
