Advanced Dynamic Light

Advanced Dynamic Light enhances your Minecraft Bedrock experience by allowing torches, lanterns, and even custom items to emit dynamic light as you carry them. This addon creates invisible light sources around the player, illuminating the environment in real-time based on the items held. Customize light settings per item, enable offhand and underwater lighting, and enjoy seamless compatibility without affecting game performance.

Installation

1. Download both the behavior pack (BP) and resource pack (RP) files. Make sure to get both, as the addon requires both packs to function correctly.
2. Import the packs into Minecraft Bedrock one by one.
3. Activate the addon in your world. Enabling either the RP or BP will automatically activate the other.
4. Start playing with dynamic lighting enabled!

How to Use

To access all features and settings, obtain the Advanced Dynamic Light Book by running the command:

/give @s dl_adl:book

Alternatively, find the book in the creative inventory under the Items category.

Use this book to configure light emission for each item, toggle offhand and underwater lighting, add custom items as light sources, adjust global settings, and manage server permissions.

Notes and Troubleshooting

The first player to join a world automatically becomes the Original Operator, with full access to manage permissions and configurations. Operators can adjust settings and enable or disable server mode, which restricts addon controls to operators only.
